【高速起動Linux Xandros Presto日本語化】

10秒で起動する高速起動Linux Xandros Presto http://www.prestomypc.com/
kernelは最新の2.6.29、MSI Wind U100ではout of the boxで動作する。
無線LANもサウンドもno problemだ。$19.95だが7日間試用できる。

Prestoの日本語化は、Xandros(debian)の日本語化と同様の方法でOKだ。

apt-get update
apt-get install ttf-vlgothic
dpkg-reconfigure locales
en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8
ja_JP.EUC-JP EUC-JP
ja_JP.UTF-8 UTF-8
スペースキーで*を入力。デフォルトは”ja_JP.UTF-8”にする。
apt-get install anthy scim-anthy kasumi
scim -d

後は再起動して日本語表示OK、Ctrl+Spaceで日本語入力が可能だ。
