【Google Chrome OS ログイン画面】 [Google Chrome OS 登場]
Google Chrome OS のログインマネージャは SLiM (Simple Login Manager) だが、毎回のユーザ名入力、パスワード入力を自動ログオンで省略できないだろうか?
/etc/slim.conf を編集して、ユーザ名入力だけは省略することができた。
ubuntu を起動して、Chromium OS LiveUSB を挿してマウントする。
(Chromium OS 起動中では書き込みできないので、ubuntu で変更する)
C-ROOT でマウントした方(第3パーティション:/dev/sdc3)に、Chromium OS の /etc/slim.conf があるので以下の変更を行った。

赤字が追加した行。
auto_login yes とすれば自動ログオンするかと思ったがだめだった。
focus_password yes なのにパスワードフィールドにフォーカスされない。
default_user が自動セットされただけという結果だ。
まあこれでもパスワードのみの入力で済むので、省力化はできる。
また、
screenshot_cmd /usr/bin/screenshot /var/log/prtscr.png
を追加することによって、ログイン画面で F11キーを押せばログイン画面のスクリーンショットがキャプチャできる。
それでキャプチャしたのが上の画像だ。
screenshot コマンドの画像ファイルのパスは、書き込み可能な /var/log にした。
自動ログイン(auto login)は、将来的には UI で選択可能になるらしい。
